1. Who we are

NestAbroad Ltd is the controller of the personal data described in this notice, except where a partner acts as controller for a service they provide (for example a payment, insurance or guarantor partner).

2. What we collect

We collect only what we need to establish your eligibility, personalise discovery and fulfil confirmed services. This includes your contact details, origin and destination, institution and study dates, and your preferences.

We do not collect passport, bank, health or immigration documents by default. A workflow may request a document only when the receiving partner, purpose, legal basis, access group and retention rule are configured and shown to you.

3. How we use your data

To provide and improve the platform, coordinate bookings and services, communicate with you, meet legal obligations, and keep the service secure.

We use privacy-approved, pseudonymous analytics identifiers where practical and do not send uploaded documents or sensitive answers to product analytics.

4. Consent and your choices

Where consent is required, we ask for it clearly and store it as versioned evidence with a timestamp. You can withdraw consent for future access at any time; certain financial records remain auditable as required by law.

Non-essential analytics and personalisation are off by default until you give valid consent.

5. Sharing with partners

We share the minimum data required with named partners to deliver a service you request, such as a payment partner, guarantor provider, insurer, transfer operator or eSIM provider. International transfer safeguards apply.

6. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, export, restriction, deletion or anonymisation of your data. Contact us to exercise these rights.

7. Retention and security

We retain data according to configuration-driven, policy-approved rules. We protect your data with encryption in transit and at rest, least-privilege access and audit trails.
